Research Department
The Research Department works basically for the Foundation’s Objective No. 2, i.e., to publish
the Global Humanity Index (GHI) and conduct research and identify the issues for the global
policy discourse and movement. Hence, the Foundation seeks to develop a culture of innovative policy thinking for human-centered development. A team of experts including
academics/scholars, development professionals, and medical doctors has been working at the
Foundation. Mr. Kumar Khadka is the Coordinator of the Department and leading the
development of GHI with a tentative timeline to launch by the mid of 2022. The Foundation’s
research work focuses on the pertinent social, economic, human rights, political, and
development challenges with the aim of contributing to larger policy reforms and evidence-
based development. Besides, the Foundation will develop networking and partnerships with
like-minded organizations and institutes to develop GHI and collaborate on the Foundation’s
research projects.
