Mr. Kumar Khadka is currently a Ph.D. Fellow at Kennesaw State University’s International
Conflict Management Program (USA). He is a seasoned development professional with over
eighteen years of extensive work experience in local governance, GESI, humanitarian affairs,
emergencies and disasters, human rights, conflict and peacebuilding, private sector partnerships,
designing and managing programs and projects, grant-making, proposal and report writing,
community development & social mobilization, training and capacity development, etc. He has
worked in various senior capacities with different national and international agencies including
United Nations. He has worked as a development expert (consultant) both in Nepal and abroad
for many agencies including Center for International Development of State University of New
York and International Institute of Peace and Development Studies, Thailand. Mr. Khadka has
served under various high-level committees and forums. He has carried out several studies on
the peace process, contemporary political & development issues of Nepal. He also has a wide
range of exposure to related conferences, training, and workshops. He has presented at and
attended various national and international workshops and seminars.
