The Coordinator of the Policy Department of the Alternative Foundation Mr. Sita Ram Kandel is a committed youth leader who is ambitious and compassionate towards his work. He has over 13 years of experience in Safeguards; Research and operational support for project identification, appraisal and implementation of Infrastructure Development project. He has specific Experience in rectification/verification of IEE, EIA/ESIA & EMP; Review and verification and approval of infrastructure sector projects. He has facilitated the different trainings, developing module including EIA, ESIA, ESMP and others. He also has Monitoring, Supervision and auditing of Environmental compliances. He also has Practice of ensuring engagement of stakeholders/beneficiary including civil society groups and private sectors.

He also has attended various trainings which helped him to flourish his skills and improve a lot. He has secured the membership in different professional Organizations as well. He worked as Environmental Consultant and Specialist in different National and International Organizations.

Talking about the Educational Qualifications, he pursued his MSc. in Environmental Management and Engineering Pokhara University in 2008. He completed his MA Social ScienceFrom Tri-Chandra College in 2013 and lastly,he achieved his Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science/Engineeringfrom Tri-Chandra College in 2004.

Due to his immense contribution as the Environmental Safeguard and other field he has secured a strong impression and Name in these Fields.
