The Alternative Foundation and Nepal Academy signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 10 August 2025 to foster long-term collaboration in cultural research, and institutional development. The MoU was signed by Dr. Dhan Prasad Subedi, Member Secretary of Nepal Academy, and Mr. Prakash Bikalpa, President of the Alternative Foundation.

The partnership will focus on joint research, digitization of resources, documentation of intangible heritage, and capacity-building programs. By leveraging their combined expertise and networks, the two institutions aim to advance language, culture, social sciences, and philosophy, while promoting innovation and inclusive growth in Nepal.
