R&D Centre
The Alternative Foundation has established a Research and Development (R&D) Center at its head office in Baneshwor, Kathmandu, with funding support from the Government of Nepal. The center aims to foster innovation, research, and knowledge creation in science, technology, and public policy by providing a collaborative platform for researchers, scholars, and innovators to develop practical solutions to pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges. With a focus on justice, peace, and sustainable prosperity, the center supports interdisciplinary research in areas such as climate change, digital innovation, social equity, and good governance. It also promotes partnerships with academic institutions, civil society, and international organizations to strengthen the link between research and action, contributing to evidence-based policy and inclusive development.
