Prakash Bikalpa is a reputed thinker-writer founder president of the Alternative Foundation and the chief innovator, planner of alternative platform, and a young and dynamic social activist. He is the person who has been actively engaged in the sector of social development for the last ten years; he has led many national and international organizations and given leadership in policy making in national level. He has authored several books to his credit including : Why Country remained Under-developed? A Road to Prosperity”, including many research papers on various issues.
RK Dhungana is an academician, youth leader, life coach, manager, writer, Founder of the Alternative Foundation and the innovator of Alternative Platform, and activist of positive thinking, sustainable development and social transformation. He has been in leadership position of many academic institutions in the last twelve years. He has also been an active trainer for the leadership development and institutional growth of different academic, financial, corporate houses including various social agencies and organizations for the last ten years. He is an active youth who contributed by leading several social organizations in the country. He has authored books; articles and reports which are published in many national and international journals.
OP Lamichhane is actively involved in social service and good governance. He is an activist of human rights, social development and transformation. In the last twenty years, he has actively led a number of social organizations for civil rights and awareness campaigns. His articles and research reports are published in magazines and journals. He is also a writer of books on social transformation. He has been fighting for good governance, consumers’ rights, human rights and establishment of socialism. He is the central president of Federation for Good Governance Nepal, life member of Red Cross Society, advisor of World Consumer Federation-Nepal, and the central treasurer of Election Observation Network Nepal.
Ganga Dahal is a pro-active social activist and founder Board member of the Alternative Foundation. She has been actively engaging in the social transformation movement in Nepal over the two decade. She is creative, motivated and enthusiastic person. She is highly dedicated for the social transformation dream of the Alternative Foundation.
Sangam Khaiju is engaged in research including teaching and learning of health, education and psychology disciplines. He is actively involved in the campaigns organized for social, economic and judicial transformation in society. He is also a board member of the Alternative Foundation and the Alternative Platform Pvt. Ltd., central treasurer of PhD Doctor & Scholar Association Nepal, board member of Nepal PhD Association, vice-chairman of Nepal Trade Union Congress of Bagmati Province, advisor of Nepal Pharmaceutical Association, trainer of Personal Training Instructor Academy, advisor of In depth Media Pvt. Ltd., central secretariat member of Nepal Health Workers Union, treasurer of Nepal Health Workers’ Saving & Credit Cooperative Ltd. and a promoter of Chongqing Ganesh Health Care Pvt. Ltd.
Teeka Dhakal, who is an activist of social transformation, academic and intellectual personality. She has been working in the fields of education, development, youth empowerment and international relation for about 25 years. In this field, she has gained mature experience by working advocacy for social transformation, capacity building, networking and empowerment. She has indomitable courage and ability to perform any task and assignment efficiently and qualitatively by adopting different approaches and methods. Due to her positive thinking and struggling behavior, she has achieved out-standing success in her life. Her core intention and value is to engage in study and research, to be a fellow and helping hand of the marginalized, to love nature, science and development. She is the Board of Director of the foundation.
Ghanshyam Prasad Rajak
The Board member in the Alternative Foundation Mr. Ghanashyam Rajak is an active youth who has an undeniable interest and role in the politics. He had also applied for the membership in the National Assembly. He is an active Social Activist with great knowledge and interest in the Politics. He has been actively working in the different Organizations as well. He worked as a chairperson in the Household and small scale industry Development Association from 2068-2070 He was the chairperson of the Social Ascent Youth Center, Janakpur. He is also a lifelong
member of Diploma Engineers Association Nepal (DEAN). He works as a member in SAARC Diploma Engineering Forum. Talking about the Educational Qualifications; he completed the LLB, TU from Nepal Law Campus in 2019. He achieved his Master’s in Arts (Mass Communication and Journalism) PU from Kantipur City College in 2018. He completed his Master’s in Public Administration TU in 2017.
Similarly, He accomplished Master’s in Arts (Political Science) TU in 2016). He also has a Bachelors Degree in Rural Development and Civil Engineering respectively. He also has pursued the Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
He is also the editor of the “Madhesh Janawaj Rastriya traimasik patrika”. Similarly, He is also honored with the Nepal-India Dalit Connection International Award due to his immense dedication toward his work.
Janak Giri, who is an academic and intellectual personality. He has been working in the fields of good governance, development, peace, human rights and social transformation for about 30 years. In this field, he has gained mature experience by working advocacy for social transformation, capacity building, networking and empowerment. He has indomitable courage and ability to perform any task and assignment efficiently and qualitatively by adopting different approaches and methods. Due to his positive thinking and struggling behavior, he has achieved out-standing success in his life. His core intention and value is to engage in study and research, to be a fellow and helping hand of the marginalized, to love nature science and development. He is the Board of Director and administration in- charge of the foundation.
Drona Parajuli, a youth entrepreneur, who is actively involved in information technology field for the last one decade, creating websites, developing software and mobile applications, conducting research and IT related trainings. He has contributed in creating more than 1000 websites and developing more than two dozens mobile apps.
