Project Description
Alternative Initiatives is a national platform of the Alternative Foundation that brings together awards, policy discourse, digital knowledge, and citizen engagement to promote scientific thinking and social transformation in Nepal. The initiative will recognize outstanding contributions through the Alternative Awards, stimulate informed public and policy dialogue through Alternative Discourse, and curate evidence-based ideas and knowledge through the Thought Navigation digital platform. Supported by strategic CSR partnerships, the initiative will connect businesses, researchers, academics, policymakers, civil society, youth, and changemakers to amplify innovation, good governance, environmental action, equity, and social justice. Through recognition, knowledge generation, multimedia outreach, and policy engagement, the initiative seeks to build a stronger culture of evidence, innovation, and shared responsibility for Nepal’s sustainable transformation.
