OP Lamichhane is a board member of the Alternative Foundation. He is actively involved in social service and good governance. He is an activist for human rights, social development, and transformation. In the last twenty years, he has actively led a number of social organizations for civil rights and awareness campaigns. His articles and research reports are published in magazines and journals. He is also the author of books on social transformation. He has been fighting for good governance, consumers’ rights, human rights, and the establishment of socialism. He is the central president of the Federation for Good Governance Nepal, a life member of the Red Cross Society, an advisor to the World Consumer Federation-Nepal, and the central treasurer of the Election Observation Network Nepal.
